Prompts for reflections

The landscapes for tech and learning are constantly evolving.

We know that tech does not always encompass all user needs - especially those who are historically marginalized. From unintended consequences to retroactively fitting technology for learning purposes, this juncture has a plethora of outstanding questions that we should all think about, as digital citizen-learners:

  • Digital access & equity. Who has access to technology, and how can we ensure that the latest developments are accessible to greater populations?

  • 21st century learning. How should our curriculum in K-12 schools evolve according to rapidly changing skills needed in society and workforce?

  • Teacher's voices. How might we ensure that technology for learning is developed with teachers' input and voices?

  • Scaffolding with tech. How might we engage and scaffold learners' journeys with tech and minimize distractions?
